Pitaroudia a tasty appetizer from Rhodes
Follow @Guide2RhodesPitaroydia is a traditional dish of Dodekanise and concretely comes Rhodes island.
I think that is something that everybody must taste and and if you like it you can very easy cook it in your house!
the recipe is as follow
The materials which constitute this tasty appetizer are..
1 kilo onions dry, 2 big mature tomatoes(cut into small pieces), 1 spoonful spearmint (cut into small pieces), 5-6 spoonfuls flour, salt, pepper and flour for frying.
We clean the onions and cut them in small pieces we add the pieces of tomatoes , the spearmint, salt, pepper and the flour. We mix well and after we leave the mix for one hour .
Τhen we fix small "balls" and put them in the flour and the in the end we fry in boiling hot oil.
