Russia seems to be optimistic in comparison to other countries, in order to this year's tourist season in Rhodes.
Russia is showing to be more positive compared to other European countries, although the tourist agencies are aware of the country’s financial situation.
Rhodes and Greece in general are popular destinations for Russian citizens, but according to the operators of the island, at this time of year a clear picture of the summer can not be formed. Indeed some of the operators which are in Moscow on business meetings, emphasize that there is a high interest in our region for this year and there will be a number of additional flights.
It is worth noting that a very important event is going to take place on our island, with the participation of tour tourist operators and media from Russia.
It will take place on the 18th until the 22nd of April and is expected of 300 tour operators and 100 journalists to attend.
The conference will be organized by southern region of the Aegean, the Rhodes hoteliers association, the organization of the Hotels Managers of Rhodes and others in an effort to consolidate relations between the two countries and to present the tourist product of our island.
